Owners Association Call to Order Lois Owen, President Meeting called to order at 1:43 PM. Board Members present Lois Owen, Chuck Hellquist, Joe McCord, Bill Keitel, Bob DellaPia Property Manager present Liz Miller Approval of Minutes Motion by Bill Keitel to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2006 Board of Directors Meeting. Seconded by Bob DellaPia. Motion Passed President’s Report Lois Owen gave the President’s report. Treasurer’s Report Joe McCord gave the Treasurer’s report. Motion by Chuck Hellquist to accept the Treasurer’s Report. Seconded by Joe McCord. Motion Passed Manager’s Report Liz Miller gave the Manager’s Report. Old Business Motion by Chuck Hellquist to approve up to $ 5,000, as a capital reserve expense from the Master Account, for the purchase of a Multi-Press Machine, Lats/Mid-Row Machine, Biceps/Triceps Machine, Abs/Back Machine, Leg Extension/Curl Machine and Leg Press Machine from Advantage Fitness, to replace the Universal Machine in the Exercise Room. All equipment will be tested and inspected by Liz Miller and Bob DellaPia before final purchase is made. Seconded by Bill Keitel. Motion Passed Motion by Bill Keitel to approve up to $ 12,500, as a capital reserve expense from the Master Account, for the purchase of one Precor Club Treadmill with Safety Handlebars model PreC956i, one Precor Club Elliptical Lower Body Machine model PreEfx546i, and one SportsArt Recumbent Bike model SPOC53R or a newer version of this bike. Seconded by Bob DellaPia. Motion Passed Liz Miller will discuss the new treadmill’s electric needs with Howard Penn. Motion by Chuck Hellquist to approve the purchase of a spotlight and accessories for the Yacht Club, from Activities income, at a price not to exceed $ 1,500. Seconded by Bill Keitel. Motion Passed Motion by Chuck Hellquist to approve up to $ 3,500, as a capital reserve expense from the Master Account, for the replacement of the existing ceiling lights in the main room of the Yacht Club. Seconded by Joe McCord. Motion Passed Motion by Chuck Hellquist to table discussion on increasing Ventana Lakes insurance umbrella policy. Seconded by Bob DellaPia. Motion Passed New Business Liz Miller reviewed some Maintenance Items. Liz Miller reviewed details on the next Newcomer Social scheduled for March 29, 2006. Liz Miller reviewed the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner scheduled for April 29, 2006. Motion by Chuck Hellquist to fertilize 20 Palm Trees at a cost of $ 5,000 from Master Account Line Item # 649.
