Ventana Lakes
Property Owners' Association
Manager's Report
January 3, 2006
Happy 2006 Ventana Lakes Homeowners! We are starting the year out on a very busy note. We have lots of interesting things going on and our plans include providing you with as detailed information as possible. Communication is currently taking place via the website, newsletters and email bulletins. There are regular Board meetings, coffee forums, and work studies, in which we communicate what is going on within the community. Meetings are conducted with committee members and we ask for them to come to meetings to announce any news that they may have. It is fortunate that we have an abundance of information that we can get out to the community on a routine basis.
Currently, the Management Office is either working on or just completed the following:
*Age Verification Forms- We recently sent out our 3rd and final letter requesting that an age verification form be filed in the homeowners individual lot files.
*2006 Boat Registration will take place during January.
*We are in the process of updating the Homeowner Directory. If you have information that has changed, please contact our office. You will be notified when supplements will be available.
*We will be working on landscape plans this month. Tours of the community and processes will be reviewed and implemented. Information will be shared with you on a continual basis.
*We will be conducting Architectural inspections of the neighborhood to assist homeowners in maintaining their property (values). This process will begin in January as well.
*Councilman Bob Barrett will be attending the February Coffee Forum. He will be happy to answer questions from the membership. The Coffee Forum will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the Yacht Club. If you are interested in obtaining Mr. Barrett’s bio, please contact the Management Office as he provided this information to us for you.
That is just a small list of things we are working on, we will keep you informed and share information as it becomes available or completed.
Did you know????
You must register your boat/watercraft device with the office. It must be currently registered. You must also keep the boat/watercraft device in good and clean condition. Failure to do so will result in a violation.
Did you know????
You must submit an architectural request form for a satellite dish. According to FCC Regulations, the HOA may not prohibit dishes but they can restrict where they are placed on the home. Please avoid being in violation and submit your request prior to the installation of a satellite dish.
Until next time Homeowners, enjoy the beginning of a New and Prosperous Year!!
