Manager's Report

December 9, 2006

Some homeowners will start getting letters regarding maintenance or landscaping issues with my name on them.  I know it is not the best way for people in the community to get to know me.  I am in the process of reviewing our letters, notices, and other communications that will be sent to VL homeowners.

Final details are being worked out with plans for the pickleball court.  Jackie Wray, Jay Dunn and I, will be meeting next week with Southwest Sports Surfaces and Phoenix Fence to hammer out the final plans before starting construction.   More info to come. 

Pool furniture with new strapping should be arriving soon.  No arrival date yet.  Final cost $915.95.

We have a buyer for 60 chairs, at $4 a piece, another HOA.  Chairs are still available for sale. 

We are working to update a phone directory.   We would also like to have your email address, so you can receive our email updates.  If you have changes in address, phone number, or email, please call the office and leave your updated information with Karen or Irene.  We will forward changes to Colby, our financial management team.

House in foreclosure – There was a typographical error in my column in the newsletter regarding the house that was foreclosed upon.  We signed over the sheriff’s deed on the “White” house to a buyer who will reimburse us for the assessments, late fees, and lawyers fees, out of the proceeds after closing.
